This rendition of the classic cabana shirt is digitally printed with "Marigold", a design released by William Morris in 1875. Antique brass half zip with lower patch pockets. Made of lightweight, organic terry cloth, this shirt doubles as a towel on a beach day. 

WILLIAM MORRIS

In addition to his remarkable talents as a designer and poet, William Morris was also an early environmental crusader, which makes him an ideal subject for our 'Earth' capsule. In the second half of the 1800s, Morris witnessed the effects of the Industrial Revolution in England and became a leading advocate against the degradation of the natural world and oppression of working-class people by industrial capitalism.  

100% organic cotton terry, carefully engineered to ensure lightweight comfort, breathability and ease of care. This fabric is "French Terry" -- the exterior has the terry loops like a towel, and the interior is smooth and flat. Organic terry cloth cotton uses less water than conventional cotton and no chemicals that can harm the environment and workers. Machine wash cold, and hang dry or tumble dry low. While we preshrink all of our fabric, cotton knit still has a tendency to shrink a small degree (~1-4%) on the first wash. To minimize shrinkage, avoid high heat dryers.
