Memorial Day – Labor Day
Tombolo mostly played the field online from 2018 to 2022. There were exceptions of course: short, passionate affairs with NYC pop ups, summer flings with a seasonal store in Montauk, and a long distance romance with a beautiful Italian -- Le Sirenuse Hotel in Positano. Finally ready to commit, we settled down and opened our first year-round flagship store in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood in November of 2022.
Our beloved flagship offers visitors a sun-drenched, dreamy escape from the gray sidewalks of Manhattan. The store features eight-foot-tall Murano palm trees stolen from a Palm Beach
estate, wall-mounted fish sourced from around the country (some say Tombolo has the biggest collection in the city), giant clam shells big enough for a bath, and Italian mid-century furniture galore (did somebody say white leather?).
The pegboard walls and modular racks allow us to constantly reinvent the space for wide-ranging activations and events: from completely converting into a gallery for our annual artist residency to hosting parties to celebrate partnerships with friends.
208 Mott Street is the heart of our brand and it beats a happy rhythm that we hope will continually excite our community.
Of course, the store also carries our latest collection, including in store exclusives that you will only find at 208 Mott Street. In addition to our own assortment of escapewear, we also have a dedicated souvenir shop that features globally sourced items of interest from unique brands we love, like Lesca sunglasses from France and Tamanohada ‘Welcome’ soap from Japan.
