This shirt was designed in creative collaboration with Mexican artist Alexis Zambrano, the winner of Tombolo's 2022 Artist Residency. It celebrate's Alexis' drink of choice: the cool, clean martini... with a twist!
Based on Alexis' painting, 'A Night at Bemelmans.'

SIZING
Yayo is wearing a size M and is 6'2' with a size 31' waist. (And Tombolo's size M Easy-Going Pants). Marlén, who is 5' 7" ( Bust 32" / Waist 27" / Hips 35"), is also wearing a size M for an oversized look.

Among the nearly 200 applicants to the Tombolo Artist Residency 2022 program, we were immediately drawn to the stunning range of Alexis' work. Alexis grew up in Monterrey, Mexico, collecting art and objects; he originally trained as an architect. This eclectic background is alive in Alexis' art, from the unexpected combinations of elements and mediums to the interplay of the geometric and the organic.
His works are created from pieces he has accumulated since his formative years and up to the present day rarities, art objects and unwanted antiques from dissolved heritages, obsessing over the transformation of religious objects across cultures: from temples, to exhibition rooms of iconic artworks and even images and particular moments from social networks, questioning the ways in which Western institutions commodify and colonize the sacred.
One thing was clear to us. We wanted to bring his work to life in a new medium altogether: Tombolo shirts! Learn more about our collaboration with Alexis on our blog.
Care & Composition
100% linen. Linen requires less water to produce than cotton, and it's strong, breathable and absorbent. It's no wonder it's the oldest known fiber. We chose a nice thick weight because it doesn't wrinkle as much and travels well, while still being breezy. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.

Free U.S. shipping available. Please allow 1 business day before items ship out. (Orders where "Fastest Shipping" or "Extra Expedited Shipping" is purchased go out the same business day if placed before 10:30am EST). At any point, feel free to inquire about an order or cancel an unshipped order by emailing support@tombolocompany.com.
We ship internationally, but if you're ordering to a country besides the U.S., there may be customs duties, taxes or fees and Tombolo is not responsible for them. Tombolo uses a service that allows you to prepay these duties, taxes and fees. For more information, please check our shipping terms.
