SIZING

Colin is 5' 11" with a 32" waist. He is wearing a size M. He is also pictured wearing the 'Boston Whaler' Board Shorts (White) in size M, and the 'Boston Whaler' Striped Beanie.

Brenda is 5' 9" with bust  / waist / hips at 31" / 22" / 34". She is also pictured wearing a size M for an oversized fit. For a more standard fit, she would typically wear a size S or XS. 

ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
 
Boston Whaler® is our most buoyant partnership yet: unsinkable, in fact, and famously so. Since the 1950s, The Unsinkable Legend™ has been integral to countless memories on the water. Among them are some of our own: Tombolo grew up with Boston Whalers and learned to love the water from the faded Whaler Blue deck of a 1974 '13 Sport.

Part I of our ongoing partnership with Boston Whaler featured a 16 foot Whaler from the 1960s that Tombolo rescued from a yard on Shelter Island, New York. The boat, named “Cea Pea,” had seen better days after many years of neglect. Unassuming Cea Pea became the backdrop of the Part I photoshoot in all of her dilapidated glory. For Part II, Boston Whaler and Tombolo upped the ante: along with 18 new items (and the return of select best sellers from Part I), Cea Pea has been reborn and reimagined after a painstaking restoration. She looks as buoyant and beautiful as ever at over 50 years old, stealing the show as the centerpiece of this ongoing partnership.

Care & Composition

90% Organic Cotton / 10% Polyester

Hi, new old friend! I’m made from organic cotton, which requires significantly less water to grow than conventional cotton and ensures no herbicides or pesticides harm the environment and workers. Because my fabric is extremely lightweight, my protective Tombolo parents decided to blend in a small amount of polyester to increase durability and reduce shrinkage, thereby extending my lifetime.

This is our lightest weight terry cloth, custom-milled to be just 215gsm for the high heat of summer.

Hand wash or machine wash cold. Hang dry or tumble dry low. Avoid high heat dryers!

  • USA returns for exchange or store credit are free.

    This is an amazing shirt.

    "This is an amazing shirt. The Terry fabric is somewhat lightweight and drapes well off the body. Being Unisex, the XS hits a slight bit oversized for me, but I love this feature a lot. It definitely gives it that lazy, vacation feel, and it would look great with jeans or just a bathing suit underneath. The mermaids add a bit of mystique to my look. I really love the double zipper because I can accentuate my waist by opening up the bottom portion and cinching the zipper in the middle of my torso. It really does elevate my style and look and makes me feel effortlessly luxurious. The blue is amazingly vibrant and rich too. Tombolo never disappoints!"
