ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
Whether your idea of adventure is summiting Everest or too many mai tais at a beach bar, Tombolo wants to come along for the journey. We promise we’ll keep up.
As longtime purveyors of ‘Escapewear,’ Tombolo knows of no better escape than that which becomes a true adventure. That’s why we are so thrilled to partner with The Explorers Club on this exclusive capsule collection.
Since 1904, The Explorers Club has championed scientific expeditions of all disciplines. Along the way, it has become renowned for the "Famous Firsts" accomplished by its illustrious members, including: first to the North Pole (1909), first to the South Pole (1911), first to the summit of Mt. Everest (1953), first to the deepest point in the ocean (1960), and first to the surface of the Moon (1969).
We designed this capsule in close collaboration with The Explorers Club to celebrate its tireless spirit of adventure. A portion of proceeds will support The Explorers Club and its mission to advance field research, scientific exploration and resource conservation.

Care & Composition
Avoid machine washing and drying, which can alter the shape of the hat.
Soak in warm water with laundry detergent or OxiClean (a stain remover) added. Spot clean as needed with a toothbrush. You may add shampoo to the toothbrush as you scrub out stains. Go gentle on stitched seams. Rinse out soap and air dry.

Free U.S. shipping available. Please allow 1 business day before items ship out. (Orders where "Fastest Shipping" or "Extra Expedited Shipping" is purchased go out the same business day if placed before 10:30am EST). "Hats don't always look good on me, so I was hesitant. I was really pleased with how this looks. It doesn't have any awkward bunching at the top. Beyond that, it's got a very retro feel. Has the vibe of wearing a captains hat without looking like costuming. Made from a very nice weight of wool or felted wool."
