Since 1904, The Explorers Club has championed scientific expeditions of all disciplines. Along the way, it has become renowned for the "Famous Firsts" accomplished by its illustrious members, including: first to the North Pole (1909), first to the South Pole (1911), first to the summit of Mt. Everest (1953), first to the deepest point in the ocean (1960), and first to the surface of the Moon (1969).
We designed this capsule in close collaboration with The Explorers Club to celebrate its tireless spirit of adventure. A portion of proceeds will support The Explorers Club and its mission to advance field research, scientific exploration and resource conservation.

STYLING IDEAS

For women, this cabana shirt makes a great beach cover up over a bathing suit. It also looks great open over a tank top with khaki or linen shorts.
Care & Composition
100% organic cotton terry, carefully engineered to ensure lightweight comfort, breathability and ease of care. This fabric is "French Terry" -- the exterior has the terry loops like a towel, and the interior is smooth and flat. Organic terry cloth cotton uses less water than conventional cotton and no chemicals that can harm the environment and workers. Machine wash cold, and hang dry or tumble dry low. While we preshrink all of our fabric, cotton knit still has a tendency to shrink a small degree (~1-4%) on the first wash. To minimize shrinkage, avoid high heat dryers.

(Orders where "Fastest Shipping" or "Extra Expedited Shipping" is purchased go out the same business day if placed before 10:30am EST). We ship internationally, but if you're ordering to a country besides the U.S., there may be customs duties, taxes or fees and Tombolo is not responsible for them. Tombolo uses a service that allows you to prepay these duties, taxes and fees. For more information, please check our shipping terms.
