WHAT'S A HAND TOWEL TOP?
Take a hand towel, fold it crosswise, cut a hole for the head ... et voilà: the 'Hand Towel Top' is born! This simple garment is surprisingly versatile: it's just as home on the beach as it is on a night out.
The 'Hand Towel Top' is a boxy, cropped fit in a simple sizing gradient.
Women should take their normal size. For example, if you are a woman who normally wears a size small, you should wear a size XS/S in our 'Hand Towel Top' sizing.
Men should size up. For example, if you are a man who normally wears a size small, you should wear a size M/L in our 'Hand Towel Top'. In our own fit trials, size large men also fit into the M/L. For men size extra large and above, the fit on this garment will be challenging.
For added versatility, in addition to the cinch closure at the top, there are two concealed hook-and-eye closures along the front opening. They can be fastened shut to prevent the front panels from fluttering open.

100% organic cotton terry, carefully engineered to ensure lightweight comfort, breathability and ease of care. This fabric is "French Terry" -- the exterior has the terry loops like a towel, and the interior is smooth and flat. Organic terry cloth cotton uses less water than conventional cotton and no chemicals that can harm the environment and workers. Machine wash cold, and hang dry or tumble dry low. While we preshrink all of our fabric, cotton knit still has a tendency to shrink a small degree (~1-4%) on the first wash. To minimize shrinkage, avoid high heat dryers.
