Matteo is 6' feet with a 30.5" waist and is wearing a size M top. Martina is 5' 9.5" and is wearing a size S top. The artist Paolo Sandulli is wearing a size L.
MORE ABOUT THE COLLABORATION
Le Sirenuse -- a storied hotel perched cliffside in Positano -- is a place of otherworldy charm and beauty. Our goal has always been to infuse our ‘escapewear’ with the magic of a place like Le Sirenuse, and – with this collaboration – we were given the opportunity to drink straight from the source. You might say we got drunk off of it!
For round two of the collaboration, we drew back the proverbial curtains of the hotel a little bit further to focus on some more intimate vignettes.
For the Paolo Sandulli vignette, we embarked on our most ambitious shirt design ever. We commissioned a work by Paolo Sandulli, an artist who embodies the spirit of the Amalfi Coast with his whimsical works, which he makes out of the most stunning studio we've ever encountered: a medieval watchtower overlooking the Mediterranean.
Paolo shipped the painting to New York City where we scanned it in high definition, digitally deconstructed it, and pieced it back together to map onto the pattern pieces of a shirt. You can learn more about Paolo Sandulli and the making of this shirt (including behind the scenes videos) here.
